What is it?
NEEDLE-IT, also known as micro-needling, creates micro-injuries to the skin causing advanced collagen production to stimulate new cell growth. We can treat all areas of your face and body. Our signature NEEDLE-IT procedure is a combination therapy of micro-channeling + microneedling with curated stem cells per client and PDO smooth threads. With the help of our curated stem cells, each patient receives a unique treatment tailored to their individual needs.

What should I expect during the Needle-IT procedure?
First, an anesthetic cream is applied to the patient’s skin to keep them comfortable during the procedure. Next, we apply a light layer of hydrating serum to lubricate your skin and make the derma-pen glide more smoothly. The device glides over the patient’s skin, creating tiny holes in the surface. The process typically takes less than 30 minutes, and afterward, your skin will be red, similar to a sunburn.
What should I expect after a Needle-IT procedure?
We highly recommend eating a light, healthy meal and avoiding exercise the day of your procedure.
What is the downtime after a treatment?
At Skin Deep Cosmetics & Aesthetics, we define downtime as being unable to work or go out in public. Downtime after a neuromodulator treatment will be unique to every patient. Typically, neuromodulator treatment has no downtime and patients are able to return to normal every day activities. Redness, light swelling, and some bruising can occur. Redness and swelling will typically resolve within an hour. Bruising is usually minimal and will resolve in 1-2 weeks. Arnica can be taken by mouth to help bruising resolve more quickly.
What are the aftercare instructions?
Most of the aftercare restrictions take place in the first 24 hours post-treatment. Remain in an upright position for at least 4 hours after a Botox treatment. Refrain from using makeup or other facial products or touching your face for 4-6 hours after treatment. Avoid wearing hats and rubbing/massaging the treated area for 24 hours after treatment. Finally, avoid excess alcohol consumption, smoking, exercise, UV light, and heat (saunas, steam, tanning beds, hot showers, etc.) for 24 hours after treatment.
When can I expect to notice the results of my NEEDLE-IT treatment?
The initial effects from the procedure can be seen 3-10 days after treatment, although peak results occur at 14 days. Results will continue to improve for four weeks or more.
How long will the results last?
Results of a NEEDLE-IT treatment should last for 3-4 months.
